ABOUT US.

The Electrical and Electronic Engineers of WA (EEEWA) is a dynamic and multi-faceted society born out of a group of passionate students at UWA.

EEEWA aims to promote student development and cultivate a community for electrical and electronic engineering at UWA, in high schools, and in industry, by virtue of our four core club objectives.

OUR FOUR CORE OBJECTIVES

Develop and upskill undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate electrical engineering students in a growing WA industry.

One of our core goals is to provide a curriculum of practical workshops that complement the UWA electrical engineering course.

In these workshops, students are encouraged to build on their practical skills which complement the soft skills cultivated in our seminars throughout the semester.

Provide a platform for UWA students to gain access to, and build relationships within the engineering industry.

We want to ensure students are equipped with a professional network and have a sound understanding of the industry to give them a competitive edge in recruitment and flourish in the workplace as graduates.

Create a society to foster and encourage meaningful relationships within the UWA electrical and electronic engineering cohort.

EEEWA prides itself in being a club for students by students.

We want to enrich the experience of students from all backgrounds by bringing them together under the shared passion of their degree.

ff

Promote and represent a growing sense of community within the wider electrical engineering body.

UWA's reputation has allowed us the opportunity to allow our club's impact to transcend the campus.

One of our core goals to is ensure we make a meaningful impact to the wider community by encouraging students to get involved in our dedicated volunteering and outreach initiatives.
